We were pleasantly surprised by the warm welcome we received upon arrival at the hotel. The receptionist, Luca, went above and beyond to make us feel at home and provided us with helpful information and assistance throughout our stay. The room was comfortable and had a unique touch with luminescent stars on the ceiling, creating a magical atmosphere. The location was perfect for us, with easy access to public transportation and a botanical garden nearby. The breakfast offered a nice selection, including fresh fruit salad, which was a pleasant change compared to other hotels we stayed at in Italy. The owners, Marco and his wife, were always present and contributed to the welcoming atmosphere with their friendly and helpful demeanor. we felt a genuine sense of open-hearted welcome that made our stay at Giglio truly special.

In terms of drawbacks, the Wi-Fi connection could have been better, and the old-fashioned elevator was small, although it added to the hotel's charm. Additionally, it did get a bit noisy at times due to other guests.

The location of the hotel was fantastic, with all the main attractions within walking distance. the breakfast included in the stay was delicious, especially the freshly made espresso and cappuccino. the room was spacious and comfortable, with all the necessary amenities.

The service at the hotel was disappointing. the staff member who greeted me was not helpful and there was no one to assist with carrying my luggage up the stairs or using the small elevator.

I recently had a wonderful short break in a hotel in Florence. The accommodation was comfortable and the location couldn't have been better, with attractions like San Marco and the Accademia just a stone's throw away. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, going above and beyond to assist us with a ticketing issue. The breakfast provided was delicious and plentiful, setting us up for the day ahead. I especially loved the charming, vintage style of the rooms, complete with modern bathrooms and air conditioning.

All in all, my stay at this hotel was fantastic.
